Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: The Three (3) keys of the kingdom of heaven as exp...: "Matthew 16:16 Peter tells us that Jesus is “the Christ,” meaning he is God who has come in the flesh as the Son of God. Jesus wanted Peter..."

The Three (3) keys of the kingdom of heaven as expressed by Peter (Matthew 16:19, Acts 2:38)

Matthew 16:16

Peter tells us that Jesus is “the Christ,” meaning he is God who has come in the flesh as the Son of God. Jesus wanted Peter to understand who he was so that Peter could relay the salvation message. This is interesting. Peter’s name means rock, some say little rock. Look at this. Jesus name means Rock, some say the big Rock. Think about this. We know that salvation is built on the Rock which is Jesus Christ. When Jesus tells Peter upon this rock I will build my church, it had a double meaning.

The Church will be built on the words (rocks) that Peter (the little rock) would speak which would become the Rock of Salvation which is based on the name of Jesus Christ, “The Rock.” (Acts 2:38). The Rock of salvation is;

1. Repent

2. be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and

3. ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

These are also the keys that opened the door, which is Jesus Christ, to the Church.  The Church will be built on the solid foundation of Jesus name by baptism, which is water and Spirit (John 3:5). The baptism in Jesus name is the Rock of our salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other way that the foundation is laid outside of the blood of Christ.

The baptism in Jesus name gives remission of sin. We are buried with him by baptism (Acts 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12). Jesus tells us in John 10:1. “Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. Jesus is the door and you must come in the door by baptism in “Jesus name.” Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6, John 8:24).

There are some who will try to come up another way by saying, “just confess in your heart the Lord Jesus” and by using the titles of God – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in baptism (Matthew 28:19). This is not the way. You must use Jesus name in baptism, not his titles.

You must come through the door and use the name of Jesus Christ in repentance and baptism for there is no other name whereby we must be saved. No one comes to the father except through the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood is applied by baptism for remission of sins. Therefore, you must go through the blood of Christ to come to the Father  (John 14:6-9).

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Jesus explains the mystery and how it works

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Jesus explains the mystery and how it works: "Matthew 13:11-17 Jesus explains the mystery. Jesus is letting his disciples know that there are things that they would know about the king..."

Jesus explains the mystery and how it works

Matthew 13:11-17

Jesus explains the mystery. Jesus is letting his disciples know that there are things that they would know about the kingdom that others wouldn’t know. One of the mysteries is that the saints knew Jesus was the Christ, but to others, they didn’t know him. They could not understand the oneness of God as it relates to Jesus. Jesus taught the disciples that he is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, “The Christ.” (Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9). In some cases the apostles didn’t understand and Jesus had to make it clear to them using the scriptures of Moses and Isaiah (Exodus 29:46, Isaiah 42:8, 43:11).

Jesus spoke in parables which they didn’t quite understand. They were seeing and not seeing. How does that relate to today? People are reading the Bible and they can see with their eyes that the Bible says Jesus is the only God/Lord/Christ and yet they don’t see it because of unbelief. Even if we told them Jesus is the only God (Lord), they still wouldn’t hear it because they don’t understand (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8).

People’s hearts are hard and they are tired of hearing that Jesus is God and their eyes are closed to the knowledge and mystery of Christ. They will be converted if they would believe that Jesus is the Almighty God and see in the Bible what God is saying about the Deity and mystery of Christ ( (John 8:19, 24, 58, II Corinthians 4:3-6).

The prophets wanted to see how God would become flesh but they didn’t get a chance to see it. They would have also wanted to hear the gospel and see how God would save man using the three manifestations of himself. In summary, they didn’t get a chance to see God in the flesh, neither did they get a chance to hear the gospel preached.  Again, the prophets knew the mystery that Jesus Christ would be God, the Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6) and they wouldn't get a chance to see Him  (I Timothy 3:16) .

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Jesus reveals Himself as the one Lord God Almighty...: "Matthew 11: 27-28 Jesus reveals who he is. The revelation of Jesus comes by the Spirit of Christ. Jesus explains to us that He will reveal..."

Jesus reveals Himself as the one Lord God Almighty

Matthew 11: 27-28

Jesus reveals who he is. The revelation of Jesus comes by the Spirit of Christ. Jesus explains to us that He will reveal, the Father. This scripture confirms Paul’s revelation about the mystery and knowledge of Christ. Namely that Jesus is God, “The Christ.” Paul received his revelation of God the Father through Jesus Christ who personally introduced himself to Paul while he was on his way to Damascus Acts 9:1-5).  Paul realized based on his Jewish background that only God or angels speak out of heaven under God's direction.  He knew that Jesus wasn't an angel, therefore, he understood Jesus to be God Himself.  God tells us his highest and most exalted name to Paul - Jesus Christ - (Acts 4:12).

In Ephesians 3:3-6, 9-11, the revelation of Jesus Christ is revealed by the Spirit of Christ. You will have to follow me on this. Let’s go to Matthew 16:17. Jesus tells Peter that flesh and blood had not revealed that he is the “Christ.” Now we know that a Spirit gave Peter his revelation and that same Spirit gave Paul his revelation. If you have been following the facts as they have unfolded, you will understand that the Spirit of Christ will reveal who the Father is and the Spirit of the Father will reveal who the Son is. The Spirit of the Father is the same Spirit of the Son - Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 10:4).

Therefore, Jesus is right in both instances. He will reveal the Father and the Father will reveal the Son (Matthew 11:27-28, 16:17). Jesus Christ is the Son and he will be revealed as the Father to whomsoever he chooses (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:6-9).

Proof: John the baptist knew Jesus Christ as the one Lord God Almighty

Matthew 11: 3, 5

Look at the importance of this scripture. John the Baptist knew that Jesus would be God himself based on the teachings in Isaiah (Isaiah 35:4-6). However, before John died, he wanted to make sure that he did not make a mistake in declaring the coming of God. John knew that Isaiah had said we should make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Our God is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:3). Therefore, John the Baptist said in Matthew 11:3, “Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

When Jesus told him that the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, etc., John realized that Isaiah had foretold the things that God would do and John also realized that this was the God that he was looking for. The one God manifested in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16). John realized that the same God who was in the Spirit, is the same God who is now in the flesh (Acts 9:1-5).

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: At the baptism of Jesus there is proof of the onen...: "Matthew 3:13-17 The miraculous baptism of Jesus. During the baptism of Jesus we find that God is saying, in so many words, he is in Jesus..."

At the baptism of Jesus there is proof of the oneness of God

Matthew 3:13-17

The miraculous baptism of Jesus. During the baptism of Jesus we find that God is saying, in so many words, he is in Jesus. 17th Verse. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Jesus can say that my Father and I are one, meaning the same because God is in Jesus Christ based on John 1:1, 14, 14:8-11, and Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9.

The Spirit and the Flesh is one God. Therefore, Jesus is God, for the Father is in Jesus. This scripture blends with and verifies II Corinthians 5:19. God tells us again that he is in Christ reconciling the world unto himself. In Matthew, we can see the three manifestations of the one God. We see the Holy Spirit represented by a dove, The Son in baptism, and we hear the voice of the Father in his Spirit form. Some might say, you see, there are three persons. This is not true. What you see and hear are three manifestations of the one God.

This demonstration is for John, his disciples and the multitude. This also demonstrates that Jesus and the Father are one (John 10:30, Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9). The purpose is to clarify that Jesus is his Son and he is well please to be in him (II Corinthians 5:19). This is not a demonstration to prove that God is three persons nor three separate personalities.

God is showing us at the baptism of “Christ” that he will operate in three different manifestations for the salvation of man and these three manifestations will be in the body of Christ (Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9).

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Isaiah foretold the coming of God and His name is ...: "Matthew 3:3 Isaiah foretold the coming of God. John is the voice crying in the wilderness according to the prophecy of Esaias (Isaiah). Jo..."

Isaiah foretold the coming of God and His name is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:3)

Matthew 3:3

Isaiah foretold the coming of God. John is the voice crying in the wilderness according to the prophecy of Esaias (Isaiah). John’s declaration is - Jesus is both Lord and God  (John 20:28).

In Isaiah 40:3, we find out that Jesus is the manifestation of God whom Isaiah prophesied would come to earth in the flesh. This also verifies Matthew 1:23, John 1:1-14, II Corinthians 5:19, Colossians 1:19, 2:9, I Timothy 3:16 and Revelation 1:8.

Again, let’s look at the scripture in Isaiah. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. If you will notice in Isaiah he says, “make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”

In Matthew 3:3, John says “Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Therefore, this same God in the Old Testament is the same Lord in the New Testament. Jesus is the one Lord who is God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 2:11).

Therefore, we can conclude that Jesus is both Lord and God. Not three personalities in one God.  God is one personality, one Lord, one God, and one Person (Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:5, John 20:28, Hebrews 1:3).

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Paul explains the mystery of Jesus Christ in Colos...: "Colossians 1: 25-27, 2:2-3 25th Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil..."

Paul explains the mystery of Jesus Christ in Colossians 1;25-27, 2:2-3

Colossians 1: 25-27, 2:2-3

25th Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26th Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints.

27th To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ: in you, the hope of glory.

2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of the understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Comments:

Paul who had a full understanding of the mystery of God, and that Jesus Christ created all things. This same knowledge has been hidden from the world but is now being taught to the saints who would be persecuted for the name and gospel of Christ. The saints had the assurance that they had a complete understanding of the mystery of Jesus Christ.

Let’s take a look at how the gospel is written. In Colossians 1:27. Paul explains that God has made the mystery known to the Gentiles and that mystery is Christ which is in you. Therefore, we learn that the Spirit of God is the Christ that’s in you. Once you understand that Jesus Christ is God and the Spirit within you, then you would understand the mystery because the foundation of the mystery is Christ. The Spirit of Christ is God. Therefore, the name of the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38).

Let’s look at Colossians 2:2. In this part, the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. It seems in this section that there are gods/three persons. (1) mystery of God (2) mystery of the Father (3) mystery of Christ. We know that there is one God and that this scripture is talking about Christ who is God the Father. This is the revelation as understood by Paul.

Paul tells us in Colossians 2:8-10 that we should be careful because men would try to deceive us with philosophy and traditions, but we know that the fullness of God is in the body of Christ.

In Christ are all the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is the God who is head over all principalities and powers and there is none like him (Colossians 1:13-19).

In the book of Ephesians there is proof that Paul explained the mystery of Jesus Christ

Read these scriptures and comments of explaination will follow.

Ephesians 1:9,10, 11, 12, 13 17, 20, 21, 22, 23

9th Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.

10th That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11th In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12th That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13th In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise.

17th That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

20th Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21st Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22nd And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23rd Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Comments:

Paul wanted the Ephesians to understand that by the grace of God they were predestined for salvation and redemption. God has given the saints, the “keys of the kingdom of heaven,” the mystery of his will and the plan of salvation according to Acts 2:38. God’s will was that salvation would be by redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ, baptism in his name and the reception of the Holy Spirit. God has given the saints an assurance and understanding that all things in heaven and earth will become one in the body of Christ including the fullness of his Spirit. (John 10:30, I Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9-10).

We have trusted in Christ and the Word of God through repentance, the washing of his blood which remits sins through baptism in Jesus name and being sealed by the Holy Spirit. Paul prayed for the saints. Paul prayed that the Father/God/Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ would reveal to them the revelation and knowledge of him (Jesus Christ).

The strongest message that Paul relayed to the saints was the knowledge and mystery that Jesus Christ is the true God of heaven and earth. Paul taught them to understand the oneness of God as it relates to the manifestation of Jesus Christ - The Messiah. Paul also taught the saints that Jesus was raised from the dead to reside in the position of power in heaven, which is his true essence as God, and that he is above all things and his name is above every name that has ever existed throughout eternity, whether it is in heaven or on earth. God doesn’t have a name more powerful than the name of Jesus Christ, which is translated, Jehovah Saviour (Isaiah 43:10-11).

The fullness of God’s Spirit which fills the universe is embodied in but not limited to the body of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:6, 10-11, Colossians 2:8-10). God has given the revelation and knowledge of himself to his saints who are sealed by the Spirit of promise, the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 3:2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11

2nd “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3rd How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4th Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5th Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.

9th “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

10th To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11th According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Comments:

One of the reasons, I feel, Paul considered himself to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ was because he was specifically chosen to bring the gospel to the Gentiles. Paul shared the history of the Jewish nation with the Gentiles and taught them how that history relates to the manifestation of Christ as the Messiah, God in the flesh. Paul also taught the Gentiles how the Jewish traditions relate to the crucifixion and salvation through the blood of Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice, the sacrificial Lamb of God. As a minister, it was Paul’s responsibility to relate the grace of God that was extended to the Gentiles through the revelation, knowledge, mystery and salvation of Christ (Isaiah 49:6).

The mystery of Christ was not revealed because the fullness of time concerning the sacrifice of Christ had not come. The apostles and prophets were experiencing exciting events because no one had the revelation of Christ the way it was being revealed to them by the Holy Spirit. God had given Paul the understanding that the Gentiles would have the same promise of salvation through the gospel of Christ. He taught the Gentiles the unsearchable mystery and revelation that Jesus Christ is the God of heaven and earth and he created all things in his Spirit form as the Father and was manifested, begotten, as a man to die for the sins of the Jews as well as the Gentiles.

Paul taught that the doctrine of Christ was repentance, baptism in Jesus name and the reception of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38, 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12). Paul was concerned about how a person was baptized because one must be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus for remission of sins. It was God’s whole purpose to shed his own blood for the salvation of man and whosoever believes in his name, repents and is baptized in Jesus name, shall receive the Holy Spirit and be saved whether they are Jews or Gentiles. We are all part of the one body through the blood and sacrifice of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:4-6).

Ephesians 6:19-20

19th And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

20th For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Comments:

Paul had a message that the Jews didn’t want to hear. God had given Paul the understanding of the mystery of the gospel and the understanding that Jesus was the Messiah, the manifestation of God, whom the Jewish nation had been seeking and had rejected. Paul’s message was a wake-up call to the Jews and a revelation to the Gentiles that Jesus was the same God who had spoken to the prophets in the Old Testament and that same God had visited mankind in the form of a man – Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 10:4, John 1:1-14).

Paul had to explain that Jesus was the Messiah-The Christ. He taught the saints how to search the scriptures to verify everything they had learned concerning Jesus’ work on earth and the message of salvation. Paul always spoke boldly about the Deity of Jesus because he had a personal relationship with him through his own experience on Damascus Road (Acts 9:1-6). God, whose name is Jesus Christ, had spoken to him personally (I Corinthians 10:4). Paul spoke boldly of the mystery of the gospel and the revelation of Jesus Christ at every opportunity because his heart was fixed and his mind was made up. Jesus is the only Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8).

Paul would offend most Christian faiths today because of his boldness. Most faiths don’t believe that Jesus is God the Father, the Messiah and they don’t believe that one must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Paul spoke boldly about repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins and the reception of the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:9, Acts 19:1-6, Acts 2:38).

Even though, modern day churches quote the writings of Paul, I don’t believe Paul would have been welcome to preach the gospel in these same churches the way it was taught by the apostles to the new converts. They would throw Paul out of their churches because they would not want to hear any gospel about Jesus being the only God – “The Christ.” If they could, they would stone Paul and put him in jail, thinking that he has lost his mind, bringing up this Jesus stuff. They would not believe the true gospel if they heard it. Why? Because of unbelief; their ears are dull of hearing.

They have eyes to see and can’t see, they have ears to hear and they can’t hear. These same modern day churches would try to offend oneness Christians like Paul by calling them “Jesus only.” “Jesus only” implies that there is no Father nor Holy Spirit in the Godhead. This is untrue and incorrect based on a oneness perspective. Oneness Christians believes there is a Father and Holy Spirit in the Godhead and the fullness of the Godhead is in the body of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:8-12). The apostles understood that Jesus is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:21, John 14:7-10,17, Colossians 2:8-12).

The beautiful thing about this “so called” derogatory term is that they associate oneness Christians with the name of Jesus Christ. What a wonderful thing to be called the name of Christ, the greatest name of the Almighty God (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-14, I John 5:20, Revelation 1:8). This term “Jesus Only” is misunderstood but it is a great compliment to a true Christian.

The apostles were called “Christians” as a derogatory term which was misunderstood but we know that these Christians were the true people of the Almighty God. Paul and the apostles were the Jews who understood the mystery and Deity Christ, therefore, they were called “Christians.” We know that people use this term to mean these Christians, who are called “Jesus Only,” don’t know God. However, God has taken this term and magnified it to be the greatest compliment any Christian could ever have. These “so called” Jesus only people are the true Christians who are called by the name of Jehovah God. They are the Christians who preach and teach the true doctrine and gospel of Jesus Christ. Through faith, revelation, and action, oneness Christians are associated with the blood of Christ through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the reception of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:1-42, 4:12, 19:1-5, Hebrews 6:4-5, Colossians 2:9-12).

Oneness Christians will hold fast to the gospel of Christ and the name that was preached by Paul and the apostles. For we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. Don’t think for a minute that oneness Christians are offended to be associated with the highest name of the one God of heaven and earth, “Jesus Christ.” We are offended by the people who are using this term and don’t know the mystery, majesty and Deity of Christ (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1, 10, 14). Oneness Christians not only love the name of Jesus Christ, they would go even further. They would prefer not to be called just “Jesus Only.” They would prefer to be called “Jesus Everything” (John 1:1-10, Colossians 1:13-19, 2:8-12, Revelation 1:8).

In the book of Romans, Paul explains the mystery of Jesus Christ

Romans 11:25

“For I would not, brethren that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”

Comments:

Paul wanted the Gentile brothers not to be ignorant of the mystery of Jesus Christ. He wanted them to know Jesus as the Messiah, the God of the Universe, who was promised to the Jews. He also wanted them to know that because they had this knowledge, there was no reason for them to go around bragging that they knew more than the Jews or that they were any better because of their knowledge of Christ.

The Jews didn’t recognized the Messiah because they were blind. And because of their blindness the Gentiles were allowed to be grafted in – don’t think that you are better than the Jews. God will keep his promise concerning the Jews after the Gentiles have had an opportunity to be saved. Make no mistake about it, God will bring salvation to the Jews and he will bring salvation to the Gentiles who are grafted in.

Romans 16:25-27

“25th Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.

26th But now is made manifest and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

27th To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.  I Corinthians 2:7

Comments:

Paul was teaching the Roman brethren that there would be people who would teach doctrine contrary to what he was teaching them concerning the Deity of Christ. There would be teachers who wouldn’t know Jesus and they would not recognize Jesus as God nor the methods of our doctrine of repentance, being baptized in Jesus name and receiving the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).

Today, preachers won’t preach the gospel of Christ and the oneness of God because there might be a fear that they might lose the income from their churches. For example, some preachers might feel that people would get offended and leave if they heard the truth about Jesus being God, and that they must be baptized in Jesus name and receive the Holy Spirit. Therefore these preachers would preach great sermons and teach a form of the gospel. Followers will believe in these unlearned and unbelieving preachers because they will not search the scriptures for themselves.

They would prefer to remain luke warm and ignorant of the God’s Word. Paul taught the Gentiles that God has the power to establish them in the gospel according to their belief in the revelation of Jesus Christ. Paul’s teachings were understood to reveal that Jesus was God in the flesh, the blessed Messiah, the Christ, who was promised would come for the salvation of mankind according to the Old Testament scriptures.

Paul had to teach the Gentiles from a Jewish perspective, the oneness of God, so that they would not be deceived into believing in a doctrine of more than one God according to the paganistic beliefs of that day.

Paul wanted the saints to avoid anyone who did not believe in the fullness of God in Jesus Christ. The Mystery that the name, Jesus Christ, would be God himself, has been kept secret since the beginning of the world. Jesus Christ, God himself, has been seen in the flesh for all nations to see according to what he told the prophets in the Old Testament scriptures. The fullness of the only wise God is in the body of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53, John 1:1-14, II Corinthians 5:19, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-10).

Luke 8:9-10

9th And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10th And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Comments:

In the preceding scriptures - Matthew 13:11-23, Mark 4:11-20, the Lord relates these stories as it relates to salvation. If one would believe the Word and seek salvation, they will find it. First you must believe, be steadfast and God will reveal his identity so that you will be baptized in the name of Jesus, and receive his Holy Spirit so that you can witness and bring new souls into the knowledge and salvation of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).

When I look at the way these scriptures are revealed to man, I can see why, it took so many different men - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to relay the same message. God’s wisdom is so vast that one man couldn’t hold that much wisdom in his head long enough to write it down without leaving out something that was important to God. Therefore, when you read all of the gospels, you will get more of an understanding and a fuller knowledge of God’s message. God lets us know what we can expect to see and experience on our journey to finding out more about the knowledge and mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ

Comments:

One would think that Jesus is only allowing certain people to understand salvation. You are right. Unless one is sincerely seeking to know the mystery, revelation, and salvation of Jesus Christ, he/she will never understand it, nor see it. Everyone is offered salvation but your heart must be pure and you must believe that Jesus is God and that he is a rewarder to him/her who will diligently seek him. What is the mystery of the kingdom? The mystery of the kingdom is – Jesus Christ is the one and only true God of the universe and one can only receive salvation through his name. There is no God other than the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s highest and eternal name (Isaiah 9:6, 43:10-11, Acts 4:12, 9:1-5. I John 5:20, Revelation 1:8).

Let’s look at this scripture this way. One will hear the Word preached that Jesus is God, which means, Jesus is Lord, yet there will be someone who will say that Jesus is not God the Father, which is a contradiction to Isaiah 9:6 and John 14:7-9, which says Jesus is the everlasting Father. Satan will come and take the Word out of their hearts. They could have been saved if they would have believed.

You will have people who will hear the Word, see it in the Bible and be glad about the revelation. When the new believer tries to tell someone about who Jesus is, they will be persecuted for his/her knowledge that Jesus is God and that they should be baptized in Jesus name. When they are ridiculed they will become offended and quit seeking God - stony ground.

In another instance, you will have people who will hear that Jesus is God and the story of salvation and it doesn’t mean very much to them, they will go on with their daily lives not seeking to learn more about salvation. The Word is sown among thorns - unfruitful.

Then you will have people who are seeking salvation. They will hear the Word, repent, get baptized in Jesus name, get filled with his Holy Spirit and then go out to witness to others who are lost. They will be fruitful through the Holy Spirit - good ground.

Jesus said, if you had known me, you would have known my Father also. No one can go to the Father nor receive salvation except through Jesus Christ because Jesus is the Father (John 14:6, Isaiah 9:6). Therefore one must believe his Word and diligently seek salvation in the name of Jesus Christ, the everlasting Father of the universe.

Comments:

The Bible is full of mysteries which are known only by followers of Christ who are sincerely interested in salvation. People today will look in the scriptures and see what it takes to be saved and they will hear Apostolic evangelists preach about what’s needed to be saved. And they still won’t see nor hear salvation preached according to Peter’s directions (Acts 2:38). They can’t see what it takes for salvation. They won’t repent, nor will they get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins and receive the Holy Spirit because they will not or cannot see it. They will say, Peter said to be baptized in Jesus name but Jesus said to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

Therefore, they say, I’m going to follow what Jesus said. How foolish to think that the Bible would contradict itself. They won’t search the scriptures to understand the importance of being baptized in the one baptism in Jesus name (Ephesians 4:5). Their minds have been blinded by the spirit of darkness of this world. They don’t believe the power and essence of Jesus’ name. Salvation is clearly explained in the scriptures yet unbelievers can’t see it.

The Prophets wished they could have seen God, Jesus, when he came to earth in the flesh and they wished they could have talked with him in his manifestation as a man. Jesus was letting the apostles know how privileged they were to have God walking and talking with them on a daily basis.

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is in the body of Jesus Christ, the one Lord God Almighty (Colossians 1:19, 2:8-12, John 1:14, Revelation 1:8)

According to Acts 4:12, Acts 9:5, and I Corinthians 10:4, God's highest name is Jesus Christ, who manifested Himself in three ways - The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Colossians 2:9).  In I Timothy 3:16,  God explains the mystery of how He changed Himself for the salvation of mankind.  God became a man to bring us back to Him (II Corinthians 5:19, John 1:10).  God's Word is synergistic, therefore, you must understand the oneness of God, how His manifestations were used  for salvation and how those manifestations can be and is the  one Lord God Almighty - Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:8).

Now, let's take a look at how God transformed Himself from the Fahter, to the Son, and back to the Holy Ghost, which was in the beginning as the Creator.

The Father (Spirit – Deity) - God is the Father in creation. God is a Spirit, infinite, eternal and unchangeable, in his being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth. He created the universe and everything in it, including the human race and all living things. The Scripture says, Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? (Malachi 2:10). In other words, why do you argue with me when I tell you there's one God who is our Father.

God is the Father of the Universe and he is also Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Isaiah 43:10-11). This is where the mystery begins because we know that God is the Father of Jesus. Some might say, how can Jesus be his own Father? (Matthew 11:26, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42). Let me explain it this way. The Spirit of God has always had the name of Jesus Christ throughout eternity. The name is everlasting. However, the name had never been revealed to man until the birth of Jesus in the New Testament (Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:23).

When God became flesh, God made his name visible to mankind through Christ. Jesus Christ is the express image of God himself (Hebrews 1:3) The Spirit of God, Jesus Christ, begot the flesh. God named the flesh, “The Christ,” for the Christ is God Manifested as a man (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1, 10, 14). God showed himself, in his glory, in the flesh, and we have the mystery and knowledge of him. This is verified in II Corinthians 4:6. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

Therefore, the name of the Everlasting Father, the Spirit, is Jesus Christ and the name of the Son, Flesh, is Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:9, I Corinthians 10:4) Matthew 16:16).

The Son – Jesus is The Son in Redemption. It's not unusual among Bible believing scholars that the Son of God refers to the virgin birth of Christ, the Messiah. The scriptures show the miracle by which the Son became flesh. (Luke 1:31-35, John 1:14, John 6:69). Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Ghost and was born to the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:23). Luke 1:35 says the angel said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee. The holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Everlasting Father of Creation – God. (Luke 2:11).

Jesus Christ is the express image of God and has always been in the mind of God from the beginning of man’s existence on earth. (John 1:1, Hebrews 1:1-3). However, God had not revealed his highest name until the birth of his fleshly body. Jesus is the Son of God, the Flesh, and he is also the everlasting Father, the Spirit. (Isaiah 9:6). Jesus Christ is both flesh and Spirit. He is both, God and Man, Father and Son. In addition, Jesus Christ is also the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost - The Holy Ghost, is the indwelling Spirit of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as both Lord and Saviour. The Holy Ghost was sent back to the apostles in the name of Jesus Christ after his ascension back into heaven (John 14:26, Galatians 2:20, 4:6). Jesus told the apostles to wait until they receive power from the Holy Ghost, which would be their comforter. That comforter will be the Spirit of Christ which is called the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. Jesus stresses that the name of the Holy Spirit, that will be sent, is Jesus Christ. (John 14:16-18). Therefore, the name of the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ.

When we address all of these manifestations of God, one realizes that all these manifestations aren’t gods or persons. Even though God has used many manifestations, God never implied that he was more than One God or more than one person. In our common understandings, we should realize that God is One God who can do all things, including manifesting himself as both a spiritual and a natural being. God can appear in any form he chooses. Why then, would someone say there are three persons in God?

The premise that there are three persons in One God is a diversion from the truth.   Three persons in one God or God in three persons is an "assumption".   God never said He was or is three persons. (Job 13:6-11, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44: 6, 8, 24).  Jesus Christ is our one and only saviour and He is our one Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8)

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ can be proven ...: "God has promised us if we are baptized in his name that He will give us His promise of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, ..."

Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ can be proven in the Public Library and is the one and only original baptism for salvation (Ephesians 4:5)

God has promised us if we are baptized in his name that He will give us His promise of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, Acts 1:4, 11:16, 2:38). The water baptism (in Jesus name) and spiritual baptism (The Holy Spirit) are synonymous with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, which is applied to the souls of humanity who believes in his name. In other words, water baptism is a cleansing process that allows a convert to enjoy God’s promise of the spiritual baptism which allows one to become baptized into Christ. When one is baptized in Jesus name, we are baptized into his death (Romans 6:3-5).

Based on Paul’s letter to the Romans, there is no question that one should be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that we will be raised with him to walk in the newness of life. Paul’s letter also supports and verifies Peter’s sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:37-39). The baptism in Jesus name is absolutely essential in the operation of salvation and the born again experience. Let’s look at some research materials that proves that the baptism in Jesus name is the only baptism that can be proven by the scriptures.

New International Bible Dictionary, based on the NIV, formerly titled, The New International Dictionary to the Bible, J.D. Douglas, Revising Editor, Merrill C. Tenney, General Editor, Zondervan Publishing House, copyright 1987, Grand Rapids, Michigan, pg. 124. Fair usage with permission.

The apostolic writers, particularly Paul, related Spirit baptism to the whole of the redemptive act. The act of water baptism symbolizes cleansing, but Spirit baptism gives the believer entry into the righteousness of Christ through an identification with Christ himself. Through Spirit baptism the redeemed sinner is incorporated into the spiritual body of Christ, not merely as an act of initiation but as a state of condition of personal righteousness. It is, therefore, the only access to identification with the redeeming Christ.

…………..In Romans 6:3-5, Paul relates the actual spiritual condition of his readers to such a participation in Jesus’ death and resurrection through Spirit baptism. “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the death by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”

The genius of Christian baptism, however, is to be found not merely in its symbolic significance but in its actual effect in the life of the believer. Spirit baptism is always vitally related to faith. Only through responsive faith to the regenerative work of Christ does the soul participate in Spirit baptism and, simultaneously, in vital union with God. Subsequently, the symbolic form of baptism (water baptism) should also be related to, and on the basis of, personal faith, as a public commitment to the person of Christ.

The Anchor Bible Dictionary, Editor In Chief, David Noel Freedman, published by Doubleday, a division of Bantam Doubleday Dell Publishing Group, Inc., 666 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York 10103. Copyright 1992, pages 586, 587.

Page 586. “Into the name of the Lord Jesus.” It is relatively certain that in the early Church one commonly referred to baptism as being done “into the name of the Lord Jesus” or something similar. One strange thing with this phrase is that the construction in what seems to be its earliest form, viz. “into the name of…” (Gk eis to onoma) was not otherwise used in normal Gk, except for the language of banking, in which it referred to the account/name “into” which a sum of money was placed….

Page 587. “As noted, Paul knows of the baptismal formula “into the name of….” But in his arguments he may instead write “into (Gk eis) Christ” (Rom 6:3, Gal 3:27; cf. 1 Cor 10:2: “into Moses,” and 1 Cor 12:13: “into one body”), or “into (Gk en) the name of the Lord Jesus Christ” (1Cor 6:11). In this way Paul connects certain concepts about Christ and his importance with baptism. Thus in 1 Cor 1:12 it seems that the “party” designations (“I belong to Apollos” etc.) make Paul think of one effect of baptism, viz., that one can say “I belong to Christ” (1 Cor 1:12; 3:23; Gal 3:29). Then he immediately ironically states that he himself was not crucified for the Corinthians, nor were they baptized “into Paul’s name.” This indicates that to Paul baptism somehow made Christ’s crucifixion a crucifixion “for” (Gk hyper) the one baptized. In other words, one “belongs to Christ” through baptism, which applies Christ’s vicarious death to the person being baptized. Thus the soteriological center of Paul’s thinking was a central motif in the understanding of baptism.”

The Catholics acknowledged that the Catholic Church changed the baptism in Jesus Name to the Trinitarian formula. However, they stress that the baptism in Jesus name is the only baptism that was used in the origin of the Christian faith. Look at these direct quotes;

Pg. 60 (mid page). The baptism of John the Baptist was only an outward sign of contrition that cleansed according to the degree of contrition; Christian baptism, however, when received with faith, “washes sins away” (Acts 2.38, 3.19); it is a moral purification effected by the power of Christ’s redemptive action (Heb. 10.19-22).

Baptism effects justice, holiness, and sinlessness (Rom 6.1-14 Cor 6.11; Eph 5.26-27) through the operation of the Holy Spirit, the eschatological gift of God (Acts 2.17-21, 33) given to all who are baptized (Acts 2.38). It makes man a child of God, forming him to the image of Christ (Gal. 3.26-27), who is “the firstborn among many brethren” (Rom 8:29), and “the firstborn from the dead” (Col 1.18; see also 1 Cor. 15.20).

Look at these direct quotes on page 61. “Formula. With regard to the formula used for Baptism in the early Church, there is the difficulty that although Matthew (28.19) speaks of the Trinitarian formula, which is now used, the Acts of the Apostles (2.38, 8.16, 10.48, 19.5) and Paul (I Corinthians 1.13; 6.11; Gal 3.27; Romans 6.3) speaks only of Baptism “in the Name of Jesus.”

Look at the next paragraph. “ Since Baptism is an incorporation into Christ, it bestows at the same time the Holy Spirit (Acts 2.38; Eph 1.13; Gal 3.14; 4, 6) and makes us daughters and sons of the Father (Gal 4.6). It is also conceivable that “in the name of Jesus” meant nothing more than that the candidate was given over to Christ, consecrated to him, and submerged in him (in his death). Though there is no clear proof that this phase was really used as a liturgical formula, the possibility of its being used thus even as late as the 3rd century cannot be excluded (Stenzel 88-93). The validity of Baptism “in the name of Jesus” was still accepted in the age of scholasticism.

Now look at the top of pg. 62, “An explicit reference to the Trinitarian formula of Baptism cannot be found in the first centuries.”

The Illustrated Bible Dictionary Inter-varsity Press, Tyndale House Publishers, 336 Gundersen Drive Box 80, Wheaton, Illinois, The Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship copyright 1980. (Part 1, pgs. 173-174); Used by permission.

There are two types of water baptism mentioned in the New Testament – John’s baptism unto repentance and the baptism in Jesus name which is unto salvation. The first Christian baptism was administered in Jesus name (Acts 2:38-41, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5). The baptism in Jesus name allowed one to be accepted into the body of Christ by the reception of the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:14-17, 10:47-48, 19:5-6). Let’s look at the forth (IV) section on page 173. “Baptism in the Pauline Letters” is quoted directly.

“The only certain references to baptism in Paul are Rom. 6:4; 1 Cor. 1:13-17; 15:29; Eph. 4:5; and Col. 2:12. The clearest of these is 1 Cor. 1:13-17, where Paul obviously takes it for granted that baptism was performed “in (eis) the name of Jesus.” Here he probably uses a formula familiar in accountancy of the time, where “in/into the name of” meant “to the account of.” That is, baptism was seen as a deed of transfer, an act whereby the baptisand handed himself over to the property or disciple of the one named.”

Mercer Dictionary of the Bible, General Editor, Watson E. Mills, Mercer University Press, Macon, Georgia 31207, copyright 1990, pg. 85. Used by permission.

“In the missionary commission of the risen Lord (Matt 18:18-20) baptism is conjoined with the proclamation of the gospel and making of disciples. To be baptized “in the name of” the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit indicates the use of the name of God by the baptizer and the baptized. The latter calls on the name of God in faith, acknowledges his sovereignty, and comes under his lordship.

The nature of baptism as a gospel ordinance is seen in the earliest proclamation of the good news of Jesus, the crucified and risen Christ, in Acts 2. Peter proclaims that God had made Jesus, whom his hearers had had put to death, both Lord and Christ (v. 36). In dismay they asked what they should do in their guilty situation. His reply was, “Repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.” They were to turn from the sin of repudiating Jesus as Messiah and confess him as God’s true Messiah. Their baptism in his name embodied at once their repentance, faith, and confession of the lordship of Jesus, and to such faith forgiveness and the gift of the Spirit was assured (v. 38).

Christian baptism thus is distinguished by its reference of Jesus the crucified and risen Lord. It sets forth the faith union of the believer with him. Paul makes mention of this in Gal 3:27: “for as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” The language reflects the symbolism of stripping off clothes at baptism, and with them the old life, and putting on new clothes, signifying the “new man,” which is Christ (cf. Col 3:9-10). It is picture language for becoming one with the Savior.

Dr. David K. Bernard wrote a book called “In the name of Jesus,” 8855 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, Mo. 63042, Word of Flame press, ©1992, pg. 53. In his book he writes; “Using the name of Jesus in the baptismal formula expresses faith in

• The person of Christ (who He really is);

• The work of Christ (His death, burial, and resurrection for salvation); and

• The power and authority of Christ (His ability to save us by Himself).

In short, baptism in the name of Jesus signifies that we trust in Jesus alone as our Savior, and thus it expresses the essence of saving faith. Since the only one who can take away sins is Jesus - not us by our deeds, not the water, and not the preacher - we call upon Him in faith, depending on Him to do the work.

In addition to what Mr. Bernard wrote in his book, Elder. G. T. Haywood wrote a book called “The Birth of the Spirit” which collaborates and affirm the statements of Dr. Bernard.

Haywood, G. T., The Birth of the Spirit, Christ Temple, 430 West Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208. Used by permission

According to Elder G.T. Haywood in his book “The Birth of the Spirit,” the blood and the name are inseparable. He writes, “Water alone does not save us. “not by water only but by water and blood.” The blood and the name of the individual are inseparable. John Smith’s son is a “Smith” no matter what other name you may give him, because he has Smith’s blood in him. By this I want to show that the Blood and Name are inseparable. You cannot honestly bear the name of Smith unless you have Smith’s blood in you; neither can you deny that you are a Smith as long as you have Smith’s blood in your veins. The Blood and the Name of Jesus are inseparable. To be saved by water baptism, it must be administered in the name of Jesus, for there is “no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” The life of the Blood of Christ is connected with baptism when it is administered in His name. It is not by water only, but by water and blood, and the blood is in His name (See Acts 5:28).”

Comments: Christian baptism was administered using the words "in the name of Jesus." The use of a Trinitarian formula of any sort was not suggested in early church history. Name was an ancient synonym for "person." Payment was always made in the name of some person referring to ownership.

Therefore if one is baptized in Jesus name, he/she becomes the personal property of the one named. "Ye are Christ's." God’s name, The Lord Jesus Christ, the “Rock” of salvation, and the creator of the universe was always mentioned in baptism. Baptism was always in the name of the Lord Jesus until the time of Justin Martyr when the Triune formula was used. Justin Martyr was one of the early Fathers of the Catholic Church Age.

There is only one Lord, one faith and one baptism (Ephesians 4:5). Therefore, we can’t have one baptism in Matthew 28:19 and one baptism in Acts 2:38. The scriptures forces one to choose which baptism is right seeing that there is only one baptism. The scriptures tells us that whatever we do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17). That includes the baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus.

The only way a person could make a mistake would be through unbelief or a false doctrine. God calls these people, fools because they won’t believe the gospel of Christ. They have turned to fables according to II Timothy 4:3-4. “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

Your belief in the name and power of Christ will help you understand the oneness of God and the baptism “in Jesus name” verses the baptism in God's titles, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The baptism in Jesus name is the only baptism performed by Peter, Paul, and the apostles and it's the one and only baptism for salvation. (Acts 2:38, 19:1-5).

Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: There is proof in the Public Library that the Trin...: "The first use of the Latin word 'trinitas' or Trinity with reference to God, was discovered in Tertullian's writings in 213 A.D. Tertullian..."

There is proof in the Public Library that the Trinitarian Doctrine is not in the Bible

The first use of the Latin word "trinitas" or Trinity with reference to God, was discovered in Tertullian's writings in 213 A.D. Tertullian was an “Old Catholic Age” Church Father. He was also the first to use the term "persons" (in a Trinitarian context). (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1977 Edition, Vol. 13, pg.1,021). The Trinitarian concept was suggested at the Nicaean Council of Churches in 325 A.D. (World Book Encyclopedia, 1984 Edition, Vol. T. p. 363). The Nicene Creed was drafted to clarify the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a result of this newly drafted creed, the Trinitarian Doctrine was born and evolved over the following centuries and became a “doctrine of men” which didn’t clarify the oneness of God and the Deity of Christ.

The Trinitarian Doctrine, as it relates to the Nicene Creed, states that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. These three persons agree in one essence and are considered to be co-equal.

The Nicene Creed was developed when the Roman emperor Constantine convened the council of Catholic fathers in 325 A.D. to get an agreement on doctrine. Therefore the purpose of this Nicaean Council was to help the “Old Catholic Age Churches” understand God’s relationship to Jesus Christ who is also considered to be God. After the Trinitarian doctrine was suggested at the Nicaean Council, this doctrine, over time, became the doctrine of all Christian Churches worldwide.

This new Nicene Creed is an example of what Paul meant when he told us not to be deceived. Paul told us that even if an angel from heaven preached anything other than what was delivered to the saints, let them be accursed. The doctrine of the Trinity has been with us so long, it’s hard for us to believe that it’s not true and that it’s a false doctrine (Galatians 1:6-12, II Thessalonians 2:3).

Satan has deceived the world’s religions by perverting the apostle’s doctrine, the method of salvation, and the baptism in Jesus name, which is the Rock of our salvation. The method of salvation was changed from the original baptism in Jesus name to the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, some time before the Nicaean Council. Baptism in the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, Matthew 28:19, was embraced by the Nicaean Council and is practiced in most modern day Trinitarian Churches. This new baptismal formula was a baptism that the Catholic fathers didn’t understand, yet it was adopted as the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The real baptism of the gospel message and the rock of our salvation is in the name of the rock - Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Acts 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12).

The reason: They didn’t understand what Jesus said. Read the book of Acts and research baptisms. The Trinitarian teachings of baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost were not carried out in the scriptures. No one was ever baptized in the titles of God - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In order to try to get an understanding of a type of Trinitarian concept, one would have to change the meaning of the word Trinity (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38). Instead of three persons in the meaning, one would have to say three manifestations of one God. Even if we go to this extent, one would still have to understand the oneness of God, realizing that there's only “one Person” of the three manifestations in the Godhead. That person is Jesus Christ. God has always spoken of himself as one Person in flesh and in Spirit - one body (Job 13:7-8, Hebrews 1:3, II Corinthians 5:19, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-9).

In Hebrews 1:1-3, God speaks of himself as “one person” who is the express image of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the brightness of his glory. Three persons in one God is heresy. God never said it and it’s not found anywhere in his Word (Colossians 1:19). God made the heavens and earth by himself – one Person. This great God of heaven and earth is Jesus Christ and the world was made by him and for him (Isaiah 44:24, John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:14-19, I Corinthians 10:4).

At this council, there was an attempt, some say, to merge paganism and Christianity, possibly because of the Christian conversion of Emperor Constantine who previously believed in more than one God. To appease the paganistic beliefs of that day, there was a attempt to create the belief that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. The word Trinity is not found in the Bible, nor is it implied that there are three persons in the Godhead. The only Person in the Godhead is Jesus Christ based on Colossians 1:15, 19, 2:8-10, Ephesians 4:4-6, and Hebrews 1:3. The Trinitarian doctrine is used by man to, unsuccessfully, try to explain the three manifestations of God to be “persons.”

This confusion and controversy was caused by scholars who believed in more than one person in God. This same debate rages on to this day because of unbelief in God’s Word. Overwhelmingly, the Trinitarian doctrine prevailed over all these centuries.

God told Israel that he is one Lord and God hasn’t changed. These scholars with their limited wisdom worked together and determined that there are “persons in one Godhead” not realizing God’s admonition through Isaiah and the apostle Paul (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 29:11-16, Galatians 1:8-12, Philippians 2:6, 10-11, Colossians 2:8-10, Hebrews 1:3).

This Trinitarian doctrine is man's way to try to understand the mystery, majesty and greatness of the three manifestations of God. If one can’t understand the oneness of God, how can one understand the baptism in Jesus name? In order to bring a clearer perspective of how we as Christians have fallen away from the gospel of Christ (apostasy) and where the Trinity came from, let’s look at the “Trinity,” and the “baptism in Jesus name” and how these concepts have gotten lost in the philosophy and traditions of men (Colossians 2:8-10).

Look at some common books and encyclopedias on the Church and Christian History in the Public Library. Let’s prove who started the concept of the Trinity. This doctrine was started and conceived through the philosophy of men, traditions, and deceit. Also, let’s find out where the man-made baptism in the titles of God - “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” came from. The true baptism is in the name of Jesus Christ. In the library, look up Tertullian, Trinity, and Baptism.

The origin of the Trinitarian Doctrine is not in the Bible

In the Public Library, there is proof that the Trinitarian Doctrine is a manmade doctrine

The Trinity or Trinitarian Doctrine is not Biblical.  The Trinity is "an assumption" that God is three persons, God never said it.

“The term “trinity” or trinitas, (Trinity) was originated by Tertullian, an “Old Catholic Age Church” father.  This trinitarian concept started it's development at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. (Note: Some references refer to the Nicaean Council of..… or the Nicene Council of…… Council of Nicaea..…).

The Trinity is the concept of three Gods in one based on historical data. This Trinitarian dogma evolved over the centuries and today we have an established concept of the Trinitarian doctrine which has restated the original meaning from three Gods in one to three persons in one God.

Trinity, Holy In Christian doctrine, the unity of the Father, Son and *Holy Spirit as one God in three Persons. The word Trinity doesn’t appear in the Bible. It is a doctrine formulated in the early church to interpret the way God revealed himself, first to Israel; then in *Jesus as Savior; and finally as Holy Spirit, preserver of the church. The doctrine of the Trinity developed in the early centuries of the church and was explicitly stated at the Council of *Nicaea in AD 325.

“Development of Trinitarian Doctrine. Exegetes and theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity, even though it was customary in past dogmatic tracts on the Trinity to cite texts like Genesis 1:26, “Let us make humanity in our image, after our likeness” (see Also Gn. 3:22, 11:7; Is. 6:2-3) as proof of plurality in God. Although the Hebrew Bible depicts God as the father of Israel and employs personifications of God such as Word (davar), Spirit (ruah), Wisdom (hokhmah), and Presence (shekhinah), it would go beyond the intention and spirit of the Old Testament to correlate these notions with later trinitarian doctrine.

Further, exegetes and theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity.”

Although Scripture does not give us a formulated doctrine of the Trinity, it contains all the elements out of which theology has constructed the doctrine. The teaching of Christ bears testimony to the true personality of each of the distinctions within the Godhead, and also sheds light upon the relations existing between the three Persons. It was left to theology to formulate from this a doctrine of the Trinity. The necessity to formulate the doctrine was thrust upon the church by forces from without, and it was, in particular, its faith in the deity of Christ and the necessity to defend it, that first compelled the church to fact the duty of formulating a full doctrine of the Trinity for its rule of faith. Irenaeus and Origen share with Tertullian the responsibility for the formulation which is still, in the main, that of the church catholic. Under the leadership of Athanasius the doctrine was proclaimed as the faith of the church at the Council of Nicea (AD325), and at the hands of Augustine, a century later, it received a formulation enshrined in the so-called Athanasian Creed that is accepted by Trinitarian churches to this day.

The word “Trinity” trinitas, was coined by Tertullian. Tertullian put forth the proposition that God is the co-existence of three Gods in one – The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is not biblical but it’s man’s way to try to understand the New Testament and the realization that God has manifested himself in three forms for salvation. In the process of trying to understand God and his manifestations- the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as it relates to baptism, the baptismal formula in Matthew 28:19, was changed from the original baptism “in name of the Lord Jesus” to the titles of God – The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Comments: Starting from the Trinitarian concept, the Christian church starts to fall into apostasy (Galatians 1:1-12). The Trinity is foreign to the original Christian faith as preached by the apostles. Modern Christians to this day are still in a state of Apostasy because they believe in “three gods/persons in one.” (This concept is totally unscriptural). When one studies the scripture and all the secular writings on the Trinitarian baptismal formulas, we can see that there is not an understanding of the oneness of God.

I believe, when we say, God is three persons or three gods in one, or any such thing, it's extremely offensive to God. God has always acknowledged that He is one and we are, in fact, calling God a liar. God has said on more than one occasion that He is one and there is no God before him, neither will there be a God after him. That being the case, who is Jesus Christ? Is Jesus another God or the same God? Three gods or three persons in one God, is an impossibility in the eyes of God, based on the Holy scriptures.

Note: The mind of man has said, there are three persons in one God and God has said, there's only one Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 2:11) and one person (Hebrews 1:3). Who is right? Is God one person like He says or three persons as one would suggest?

The conclusion of the whole matter is the concept that I have endeavored to explain throughout my book. The Trinitarian doctrine is a doctrine of men and that doctrine changed the original baptism “in the name of the Lord Jesus to the titles of God (Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:8-10).
