Jesus Christ in Deuteronomy as the Word (John :1:1, 10, 14)

Old Testament: The Lord is God.
Deuteronomy 4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him.

Old Testament: The one Lord is God
Deuteronomy 6:4. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

New Testament: The one Lord our God is Jesus Christ
Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Reference Isaiah 9:6)

Romans 10: 9,12,13 9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Old Testament: God is Lord of Lords
Deuteronomy 10:17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

New Testament: Jesus is Lord of Lords
Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD
OF LORDS.

Old Testament: God is The Rock of Israel
Deuteronomy 32:3-4. Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. God has published the name of the Lord in the New Testament. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ.

New Testament: Jesus is the Rock of Israel
I Corinthians 10:1-4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Note: Jesus is the same God, the manifestation of the Father – in Spirit form – Isaiah 9:6. Jesus is the Everlasting Father who spoke to Moses and who lead the children of Israel out of Egypt (John 8:58, I Corinthians 10:4).

Old Testament: God is “I am he”
Deuteronomy 32:39. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

New Testament: Jesus is the “I am he”
John 8:23-24, 28. 23. And he said unto them, ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. 28. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. Note: One must understand that Jesus is God or they will die in their sins – Why? Because they did not know Jesus Christ and they did not follow the gospel. (Acts 2:28, II Thessalonians 1:7-8). When they knew God, they glorified him not as God – Romans 1:21.

John 18:5-8. They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: (John 8:24).

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the
keys of hell and of death.
