In the book of Mark, there is proof that Jesus Christ is the one Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8)

The book of Mark proves that there is only one Lord and his name is our one Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6,  43:10-12)

 Mark 1:24, 34

The Devils knew him. The devils knew that Jesus was the One God of heaven and earth, but Jesus was not ready for this information to be known to the world. Therefore, he told the devils to hold their peace and come out of him. Listen !! Don’t you know that if the devils know that Jesus is God Almighty, you should know that he is God Almighty (John 1:1, 3, 10, 14, Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, 22:13).

Jesus Christ is the only God you will ever know. Why is it that some choose not to believe? Why would anyone want to compartmentalize or split God up into three entities or three personalities, then say he is one? God said he is one, not three in one nor three persons/personalities in one.  More than one personality in the Godhead is heresy and is an affront to God because God never said in his Word he is three persons (Hebrews 1:3). Why would one believe in three personalities in one God and not listen to God when he says he is one (John 10:30).

If one would learn and study the oneness of God, then they will see clearly enough to believe what God said the first time. “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord” Deuteronomy 6:4.   In this scripture we see again that the Lord is God. In the New Testament we see that Jesus is the one Lord (Luke 2:11) and he is the same God who said he is one Lord in the Old Testament.   Let’s look at it another way. If we could understand that only God can forgive sins, then we will understand that Jesus is God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8).

Mark 2:7

Only God can forgive sins. If Jesus forgives sins, who is he? Is he just the Son or is he God? I submit to you that Jesus is not only the Son, he is also God himself; for only God can forgive sins. Jesus doesn’t forgive sins as the Son, he forgives sin as God. Jesus explains the mystery and how people who don’t believe won’t understand.

Mark 4:11-12

Jesus explains the mystery and how people who don’t believe won’t understand. People see but they won’t perceive. They will hear and not understand. If they understood, they would be converted and their sins would be forgiven. Note: Their sins would be forgiven if they would believe. Believe what? They should believe in and have faith in the name of Jesus Christ through repentance, baptism in Jesus name for remission of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). If you believe and get baptized, you will be saved (Mark 16:16).

You can’t just have faith and be saved. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17-18, 20-22, Mark 4:40, Luke 7:50, Romans 3:3-4, 5:1-2, Hebrews 11:6). Therefore, we are saved by the grace of God through the faith that we have in the name of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, we must do the works of repentance and baptism which are requirements for salvation (Acts 2:38). We can understand the baptism in Jesus name because God gives us the understanding in his Word.

Mark 7:6-9

God gives us an understanding in his Word that today’s professing Christians honor him with their lips but their hearts are far from him. They are still teaching the traditions of men, by baptizing in the titles, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost when God’s Word says to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. We should be baptized in the name of our Saviour, Jehovah Saviour-Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. There is no other name under heaven given to us under which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). God not only told us; he gave examples and demonstrations in the entire book of Acts. What will be our excuse when we meet him?

They reject the commandment of God that he is One and they keep their Trinitarian tradition of men, that he is three, which is not a commandment of God (Romans 10:14-16). The first of all commandments of God is, Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29,32, Luke 2:11). Anything other than the teaching of the oneness of God is heresy, tritheism, polytheistic, and paganistic. Jesus is the only God and he is the right hand of the power of God.

Mark 14:62

Jesus said, I am, and that he will be on the right hand of power. (Matthew 28:18). This is also an indication that Jesus is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob of the Old Testament. When Jesus says, I am or I am he; he is really saying I am the Almighty God and I will be coming back in the clouds of heaven with God’s power in my hand. Jesus Christ is the right hand of the power of God. (Exodus 3:14, Isaiah 41:4, Revelation 1:8, 11). It’s important that we understand the mystery of the gospel of Christ and that we have the same beliefs as the apostles.

Mark 16:16

Jesus addresses the belief of his apostles and lets us know that once we believe, we should be baptized and those that are baptized would be saved. He also gives us a warning that he who doesn’t believe will be damned. Based on the scriptures, the only way to be baptized is in the name of the Lord Jesus. We are buried with him by baptism. In addition, whatever, we do, in word or deeds, we should do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17).

Based on my research, if one doesn’t believe, and is not baptized in Jesus name, he will be damned. There is no other baptism to consider. Let’s go on to Luke to understand the birth of Jesus and how his Spirit produced blood, for baptism, by becoming flesh.
