Jesus reveals Himself as the one Lord God Almighty

Matthew 11: 27-28

Jesus reveals who he is. The revelation of Jesus comes by the Spirit of Christ. Jesus explains to us that He will reveal, the Father. This scripture confirms Paul’s revelation about the mystery and knowledge of Christ. Namely that Jesus is God, “The Christ.” Paul received his revelation of God the Father through Jesus Christ who personally introduced himself to Paul while he was on his way to Damascus Acts 9:1-5).  Paul realized based on his Jewish background that only God or angels speak out of heaven under God's direction.  He knew that Jesus wasn't an angel, therefore, he understood Jesus to be God Himself.  God tells us his highest and most exalted name to Paul - Jesus Christ - (Acts 4:12).

In Ephesians 3:3-6, 9-11, the revelation of Jesus Christ is revealed by the Spirit of Christ. You will have to follow me on this. Let’s go to Matthew 16:17. Jesus tells Peter that flesh and blood had not revealed that he is the “Christ.” Now we know that a Spirit gave Peter his revelation and that same Spirit gave Paul his revelation. If you have been following the facts as they have unfolded, you will understand that the Spirit of Christ will reveal who the Father is and the Spirit of the Father will reveal who the Son is. The Spirit of the Father is the same Spirit of the Son - Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 10:4).

Therefore, Jesus is right in both instances. He will reveal the Father and the Father will reveal the Son (Matthew 11:27-28, 16:17). Jesus Christ is the Son and he will be revealed as the Father to whomsoever he chooses (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:6-9).

Proof: John the baptist knew Jesus Christ as the one Lord God Almighty

Matthew 11: 3, 5

Look at the importance of this scripture. John the Baptist knew that Jesus would be God himself based on the teachings in Isaiah (Isaiah 35:4-6). However, before John died, he wanted to make sure that he did not make a mistake in declaring the coming of God. John knew that Isaiah had said we should make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Our God is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:3). Therefore, John the Baptist said in Matthew 11:3, “Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

When Jesus told him that the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, etc., John realized that Isaiah had foretold the things that God would do and John also realized that this was the God that he was looking for. The one God manifested in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16). John realized that the same God who was in the Spirit, is the same God who is now in the flesh (Acts 9:1-5).
