Understanding the Trinity vs Three Manifestations: The Three (3) keys of the kingdom of heaven as exp...: "Matthew 16:16 Peter tells us that Jesus is “the Christ,” meaning he is God who has come in the flesh as the Son of God. Jesus wanted Peter..."

The Three (3) keys of the kingdom of heaven as expressed by Peter (Matthew 16:19, Acts 2:38)

Matthew 16:16

Peter tells us that Jesus is “the Christ,” meaning he is God who has come in the flesh as the Son of God. Jesus wanted Peter to understand who he was so that Peter could relay the salvation message. This is interesting. Peter’s name means rock, some say little rock. Look at this. Jesus name means Rock, some say the big Rock. Think about this. We know that salvation is built on the Rock which is Jesus Christ. When Jesus tells Peter upon this rock I will build my church, it had a double meaning.

The Church will be built on the words (rocks) that Peter (the little rock) would speak which would become the Rock of Salvation which is based on the name of Jesus Christ, “The Rock.” (Acts 2:38). The Rock of salvation is;

1. Repent

2. be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and

3. ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

These are also the keys that opened the door, which is Jesus Christ, to the Church.  The Church will be built on the solid foundation of Jesus name by baptism, which is water and Spirit (John 3:5). The baptism in Jesus name is the Rock of our salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other way that the foundation is laid outside of the blood of Christ.

The baptism in Jesus name gives remission of sin. We are buried with him by baptism (Acts 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12). Jesus tells us in John 10:1. “Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. Jesus is the door and you must come in the door by baptism in “Jesus name.” Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6, John 8:24).

There are some who will try to come up another way by saying, “just confess in your heart the Lord Jesus” and by using the titles of God – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in baptism (Matthew 28:19). This is not the way. You must use Jesus name in baptism, not his titles.

You must come through the door and use the name of Jesus Christ in repentance and baptism for there is no other name whereby we must be saved. No one comes to the father except through the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood is applied by baptism for remission of sins. Therefore, you must go through the blood of Christ to come to the Father  (John 14:6-9).
