No man has ever seen God (Christ) in His Spiritual form (I Corinthians 10:4)

John 6:46, 14:5-10

No man has seen the Father. We have been discussing how Jesus is the Father and we know that Jesus told the disciples when you have seen me, you have seen the Father. (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:9).

How do we reconcile these scriptures? This seems like a contradiction, but it’s not. The Glory of God is so bright and powerful that no flesh could remain in God’s presence. Therefore, we do know that no man has seen the Spirit of God, in his fullness, at any time and live. Moses saw the backside of God and he has talked to God face to face, but he has never seen God in the fullness of his glory. God is so vast that man has to see God in some type of “manifestation” or condensed form.

Let’s look at what Jesus is saying in John. Jesus is telling the disciples that they are looking at the express image of God. The manifested flesh of God - “The Father”. (John 1:1, 14, Hebrews 1:3, Colossians 2:8-9, I Timothy 3:16, I John 1-2).

In other words, the disciples have seen the express image of God the Father in the flesh but they have not seen God the Father in the fullness of his Spiritual form, which is in the body of Jesus  (John 14:10-11, Colossians 2:9).

The disciples understood, over time, that Jesus was the one God in Christ, the Son of the Living God. The same God in the Old Testament was now on earth in the form of a man (as the Father - John 10:30,  14:9) reconciling the world unto himself (II Corinthians 5:19, John 8:24, 58).
