What is the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost mentioned in Matthew 28:19

Matthew 28:19

Jesus gives the apostles the great commission to go and teach all nations all the things he had taught them because they knew him. The apostles knew that Jesus was God and that he is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Colossians 1:19). Therefore, they baptized new converts in the name of Jesus Christ. Read the whole book of Acts 2:38, 10:48, 22:16, 19:1-5.

The baptism in name of the Lord Jesus is the only name and method of baptism sanctioned by Paul and the other apostles. Paul said, if anyone, even an angel from heaven teach any other gospel, let him be accursed – Galatians 1:8, 9. Again, one must understand what Jesus said; and the importance of being baptized in Jesus name. There was no question among the apostles what Jesus said. He said they should teach all nations and baptize them in the name of Jesus Christ who is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Colossians 2:8-9). This understanding was based on their understanding of the scriptures. Take a look at the following scriptures.

The Name of the Father is Jesus Christ            (Isaiah 9:6, John 5:43, 14:9) (Ref: Acts 2:38)

The Name of the Son is Jesus Christ       (Matthew 1:21, Philippians 2:6-11) (Ref: Acts 2:38)

The Name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ     (John 14:18, 26, Col. 1:27) (Ref: Acts 2:38)

When we take all of these scriptures into consideration, we find that the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ. Therefore the apostles baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us that the Father will be glorified in the Son (John 13:31-32). Understanding the meaning of Jesus name and who he was, the apostles baptized all new converts in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
