Jesus Christ in the book of Joshua as the Word (John 1:10, Ephesians 4:5)

God is one Lord and that one Lord has been revealed to us in the New Testament as our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. "Jesus is Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 2:11, Isaiah 43:10-11, Ephesians 4:5, Acts 4:12)

Old Testament: The Lord is God
Joshua 24:17 For the Lord our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed.

New Testament: Jesus is The Lord
Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Note: Paul asked, Who art thou, Lord? Paul knew there was only One Lord who was God according to his Old Testament teachings. Therefore, Paul knew at this point that Jesus was God Himself and he also knew that there is only One God who speaks out of heaven and that Person is the Christ who is being revealed to him as the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 10:4).

Paul didn’t know God’s highest and most exalted name until Jesus told him who he was. “There is but One Lord, Father of all, and his name is Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Jesus is not speaking to Paul as the Son, he is speaking to Paul as the Father of creation and God of the Universe. (Colossians 1:14-19,I Timothy 3:16).
