The following scriptures from Psalms prove that Jesus Christ is the same one Lord God Almighty in both his Spiritual form in the Old Testament and in His manifested form as a Man in the New Testament. God spoke out of heaven and told us His Highest Name through the Apostle Paul Acts 9:5, Acts 4:12, Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 2:11, Matthew 1:23, Ephesians 4:5, Colossians 2:8-9, II Corinthians 5:19)
Old Testament: God the Creator
Psalms 33:6By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his
mouth.
New Testament: Jesus the Creator
John 1:10. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
I Corinthians 8:6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Ephesians 3:9. And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 1:1-3 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Old Testament: The Lord God is the Rock
Psalms 18:2. The Lord is my rock and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation and my high tower

New Testament: Jesus is the Rock
Matthew 16:18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Jesus explains to Peter that since he understood that he is the Christ, he also wanted him to understand that he is the rock and he will build the church upon the words of Peter which is the gospel message about his name, the rock, in Acts 2:38 – Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. “The gospel of Christ,” Acts 4:11-12. Verse 11. Jesus is the stone which was set at nought of you builders which is become the head of the corner. Verse 12. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. In this scripture – the stone is referring to the rock of Christ (I Corinthians 10:4).
Romans 9:33 As it is written, behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
I Corinthians 10:1-4. Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Old Testament: The Lord is the shepherd
Psalms 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Hebrews 13:20-21. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in very good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
I Peter 2:24-25. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
I Peter 5:1-4. 1. The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 2. Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not be constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3. Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Old Testament: The Lord is the King of glory.
Psalms 24:8-10. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Psalms 44:4. Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
Psalms 74:12. For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
New Testament: Jesus is the King of Glory.
Matthew 2:1-2. 1. Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him.
Luke 19:37-38. 37. And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38. Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
Luke 23:1-3. 1. And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. 2. And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. 3. And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
Old Testament: The High God and redeemer.
Psalms 78:34-35. 34. When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God. 35. And They remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
New Testament: Jesus is the redeemer.
I Peter 1:18-19. 18. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Galatians 3:13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Old Testament: God is the Rock.
Psalms 18:2. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psalms 18:31. For who is God save the Lord? Or who is a rock save our God?
Compare: II Samuel 22:32 and I Corinthians 10:4 to understand that Christ is our Rock. God is our Rock and redeemer (Psalms 78:35). And they remembered that God was their rock and the high God their redeemer,
Psalms 31:3. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
Psalms 78:34-35. When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God. And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer,
Psalms 89:26. He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
New Testament: Jesus is the Rock of Israel.
I Corinthians 10:4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Note: This scripture is revisited because it clearly shows that Jesus is God in his Spiritual form before he was born and he is the rock of our salvation in the flesh as The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In other words, God has a dual nature, he is both God in the Spirit and Man in the flesh (Colossians 2:9).
