Romans 6:3-4
Buried with him in baptism. This is another revelation of Jesus Christ. We are buried into Jesus Christ by the baptism in Jesus name (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38). This is extremely important because this scripture doesn’t say we are buried (baptized) with the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is all three of these manifestations of one God. (Colossians 1:19, 2:9, Hebrews 1:3, I Timothy 3:16).
The name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are buried with Jesus Christ through baptism in Jesus name, God’s highest name (I Corinthians 10:4, John 1:10, Acts 4:12). There is no other name whereby we must be saved. The name of Jesus Christ, God's highest name, carries the blood that was shed for the remission of our sins. The name and the blood are inseparable.
There have been thousands of people who have been baptized in Jesus name. Ref: Acts 2:41 and the whole book of Acts. On the other hand, nobody has ever been baptized in God’s titles, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Why? Because Jesus told us to be baptized in his name (Matthew 28:19).
The apostles always used the name of the Lord in baptism because they knew the mystery of his Godhead and his true identity through revelation (Acts 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12, Colossians 1:14-19, 2:8-9). God told us how to be baptized in his name in Matthew 28:19. Then God’s disciples gave us examples throughout the whole book of Acts of how we are to be baptized. In summary, we are buried with him by baptism in Jesus name, the solid rock of our salvation, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the baptism in Jesus name (Matthew 16:18, Colossians 2:8-12)
