In Revelation there is proof that Jesus Christ is the one Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8)

Revelation 1:7, 8, 10, 11, 17, 18

Revelation means the revealing of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, I think, we don’t see what we are reading. Let’s go back to understand the first few words in Revelation. This book is going to reveal who Jesus Christ really is. This is the mystery and revelation that Paul was talking about which was hard for some to understand. Paul preached on many occasions about how grateful he was to have the knowledge and mystery of Jesus Christ. I’m sure that Paul learned more about God during his life time, but Paul’s first revelation that Jesus was the only God was on the road to Damascus. God told Paul his name in Person (One Person) (Acts 9:1-8). Jesus Christ is the highest and most exalted name of God (I Corinthians 10:4). Paul was so excited about this knowledge that he counted everything else as nothing. (Philippians 3:8).

There is nothing more powerful than to have the knowledge that Jesus is the Almighty God and to understand the mystery of how God used three manifestations of himself for the salvation of man. There will be many who will not hear what the Lord has to say to the churches for their ears are dull of hearing. There is only one God and his name is Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:15-17, 3:1-15, I Timothy 3:16).

The Jewish Messiah, God himself, has already come and he will return. Revelation explains the main focus of the gospel. It explains that; Jesus Christ is God Almighty (Revelation 1: 7-8, 11, 17, 18).

In our understanding of who Jesus is, we understand that he will come back, as God, on a cloud and every eye shall see him, along with those who pierced him. The whole world will cry because of him. In the 8th verse Jesus speaks. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. This is the first time, that I know of where Jesus refers to himself, directly, as the Almighty. Without question, Jesus is the Almighty God. (Zechariah 12:10, Philippians 2:6-11, Revelation 1:7-8).

In verses 10,11, 17, 18. John was in the Spirit when he heard the voice of Jesus. How do you know it was the voice of Jesus? We know the voice was Jesus because of the context in which Jesus is speaking. Verse 11. From a natural stand point, we can see that the red letters in the King James version of the Bible indicates that Jesus is speaking. Jesus says he is Alpha and Omega, the first and last. This is what we know from our study of the Old Testament. We know that God has said that he is the first and last. Let’s look at Isaiah 44:6 for a minute. In this verse the Lord, in his Spirit, is saying he is the first and last. In God’s manifestation as the redeemer, Jesus Christ, the Lord of Hosts says, I am the first, and I am the last.

This scripture indicates that either Jesus is God Almighty or he is an impostor. I choose to believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true God. God said, there is no God besides me. During the whole first chapter in the book of Revelation, Jesus explains that he is God and John, based on this scripture, understands this revelation to mean that Jesus is the Almighty God. Jesus Christ is the one who will sit on his throne.

Revelation 3:21

My throne and his throne. I know I can’t address all of the seemly contradictory verses in the Bible. However, I would like to assure you, there are no contradictions in the scriptures. Maybe I will address them in another book at another time. This verse will cause the unbeliever to stumble on the oneness of God because of a lack of knowledge of the manifestations of God.

In this verse Jesus tells us that this is my throne. Then he says in the latter half of the same verse, that he is set down with my Father in his throne. Now, whose throne is it? Is it Jesus’ or the Father’s? According to Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is the everlasting Father in Spirit form, therefore, Jesus can say my throne.

Understand that Jesus was begotten in the flesh and was anointed and glorified. His glorified body went back to heaven in a type of Spiritual form, or heavenly body, which has all the power of the Godhead and returned to the Heavenly Spirit (Father). This Heavenly Spirit is recognized as the Father. Therefore, in his glorified body, Jesus can say, my throne and my Father’s throne –The throne of the Heavenly Spirit.

The glorified body sits on the throne where the Heavenly Spirit, Father, resides. The Heavenly Spirit is in the body of Christ and has always filled the heavens and the earth at the same time. This same Spirit came down in the form of Christ while still remaining in heaven. Refer to: the glass and pitcher of water as aforementioned. God has incorporated all of his power into the glorified body of Christ (Matthew 28:18, Colossians 1:14-19, 2:9). That’s why Jesus (Flesh) can say, I am set down with my Father (Spirit) in his throne. The Flesh and the Spirit has become one manifestation of God. That’s also the reason why Isaiah and John can say, Jesus is the everlasting Father and the Almighty God.

Jesus had the same Heavenly Spirit, the Father, in his body. Therefore, when Jesus speaks, and prays to the Father from earth, he is speaking to his Heavenly Spirit which always reside in heaven. Jesus and his Father are one (the same). One God different manifestations. We can see the Heavenly Spirit, the Father, in the person of Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God, and who also sits on the throne as God (Isaiah 9:6, I Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-10, Revelation 1:8, 7: 10, 17, 17:14).

This is a mystery and based on my knowledge of the Word, this is as close as I can get to explaining the revelation of God. Paul said he could only understand the Word of God through revelation. By the same token, you and I can only understand the Word of God through revelation and the Spirit of Christ. Because we are human, we can only see through a glass darkly. However, we do know, there will be one who will sat on the throne (Ephesians 3:3-5).

Revelation 4:2,8,9

One sat on the throne. The foundation of the Word of God is that God is one. When we see this type scripture, it clarifies to us again that there will be one who will sit on the throne. The One that sits on the throne is the Lord God Almighty who is the Lamb. You will see in the following scriptures that God is the Lamb. What is the name of the Lamb? In our study of the Word of God, we understand that the name of the Lamb is Jesus Christ. Therefore, Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty. Again, simple algebra. The Lamb is in the midst of the throne (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, 11, 17:14, 22:13)

Revelation 5:6-13, 7:10, 17, 15:3-4

The Lamb is in the midst of the throne. Now that we understand that Jesus is the Lamb, we can also understand how the Lamb, as a manifestation of God, was used for our salvation through the shedding of blood. Jesus Christ is the Lamb who was sacrificed and he is the one and only God. Jesus is the Lamb of God and the Lamb is God. For Jesus, the Lamb, created the heavens and all things. Refer to: Animal sacrifice in the Old Testament, (John 1:29, 36, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-10, I Peter 1:19).

Revelation 10:6 -7

Jesus created the heavens and all things. This scripture verifies what Paul was telling the church at Corinth. Paul is making a point about eating food that had been offered up to idols. However, in the same text, he lets us know that Jesus Christ created everything. Why is it that everybody don’t understand that Jesus Christ created the world and everything in it? Why is it that everybody don’t understand that he made us? (I Corinthians 8:4-7).

This scripture also verifies what Paul told the Ephesians. Paul preached that Jesus Christ is God and that God’s name always has been Jesus Christ for he created all things by his own name - Jesus Christ. After all is said and done, there will be one Lord and one name and then the mystery of God will be finished We will see Jesus Christ as God, as it was in the beginning, when he spoke to his servants and the prophets. God has embodied all of his power into his manifestation as Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God (Matthew 28:18, John 1:29, I Corinthians 10:2-4, Ephesians 3:9-11, Colossians 2:8-12).

Revelation 11:15-17

God has embodied all of his power into his manifestation. God has embodied all of his power into his manifestation as Jesus Christ who will reign forever and ever as Lord God Almighty (Colossians 2:9, Revelation 1:8). We, the ones who know who God is, have always understood that Jesus Christ is a manifestation of God and that God shed his own blood for the salvation of mankind. God, who is Jesus Christ, the Lamb, is our only Saviour and he carried out this glorious salvation by using three manifestations of himself. God did not use any other persons. God is the Saviour of mankind all my himself, using his own name, which is the only name whereby we must be saved. God sacrificed himself as the Lamb and the Lamb is Lord of lords and King of kings (Isaiah 43:10-1, Acts 4:12, 20:28, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-10).

Revelation 17:14

The Lamb is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. This scripture verifies that The Lamb is also Jesus Christ because Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords (I Timothy 6:14, 15, Revelation 19: 7, 13, 16). Now let’s go back to Revelation 15:3,4. This scripture verifies that the Lamb is Great, his works are marvellous and the Lamb is Lord God Almighty. This is common sense to me. See if this makes sense to you. The Lamb is Lord God Almighty (Isaiah 40:3). Jesus is the Lamb (John 1:29). Therefore, Jesus is the Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8, 11, 17:14, 22:13). Again, this is simple Algebra (A=C; B=C; therefore, A=B).

Revelation 21:5-6

This scripture verifies that Jesus is God. Jesus Christ is the one who will sit on the throne. Jesus tells John to write these words because they are true and faithful. Jesus tells John again as he did in the first part of Revelation 1:8, 11, that he is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. And he added, I will give unto him that thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Therefore, Jesus is saying he is God and he will give unto believers the water of life. God has made his word so plain in so many locations in the scriptures, that it is hard to conceive that people will call themselves followers of Christ and can’t see it. However, if this gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost (II Corinthians 4:3-4).

Revelation 22:12-13

Jesus again stresses that he is the Almighty God. Jesus said to John, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Thank God that we have learned and seen through this book of Revelation, the knowledge and mystery that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God of the heavens and the earth. Thank God for using his fleshly body to die for our sins and we thank God for his appearing unto us as the Messiah and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:6-8, Revelation 1:8, 11).

In the book of Jude there is proof that Jesus Christ is the one Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8)

In these last days, we don't have to look very far to find people who call themselves Christian denying that Jesus Christ is the same God and Father, in His Spirit form, who created the heavens and the earth (John 1:1, 10, 14).

Even though Isaiah and Jesus Himself have declared that Jesus is the Father, there are still those who will not understand the oneness of God and the Deity of Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ is the one LORD mentioned in the "Shema".  Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God is one LORD. 

There will be some who have eyes to see but cannot see, they have ears to hear but cannot hear because of unbelief.  Their Spiritual understanding is lacking and their human logic has deceived them.  (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:9, Deut. 6:4, Luke 2:11, Revelation 1:8)
Jude 1:1-5

Certain men denying the only Lord God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. God is warning us that there are men who would seem to be followers of Christ, and have crept into our churches, but they are ungodly and they will be condemned. Today these false teachers are propagating the false notion of a three person God.

They have turned the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God and his manifestation as our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Isaiah 43:10-11). In other words, they deny that Jesus Christ is the one and only Almighty God (Revelation 1:8).

Verse 5. Let’s get an understanding of what God is saying here. Based on our knowledge of the children of Israel and their exodus from Egypt, we know that God brought them out of the land of Egypt and yet he destroyed those that didn’t believe.

Does that mean that once it has been explained to us who Jesus is, and we still won’t believe, we will suffer the same fate as the children of Israel? Read the scripture again and come to your own conclusion.

The message is this. These ungodly men deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only God. To give God the glory and recognition for this great salvation, we should repent, get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). If we take Mark 16:16 in combination with Acts 2:38, this scripture would be translated; he that believeth and is baptized, in Jesus name for remission of sins, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

I pray that God have a blessing for the ones who read these words. Search the scriptures, obey them, and tell others about the mystery and knowledge of Jesus Christ. There will be some new believers who will believe right away and be saved and there will be others who have been trying to be saved for years through their good works but they won’t believe because they are with a certain Church and they will be embarrassed to leave their traditions and philosophies of men. These same people will fall into unbelief and reprobation because they wouldn’t follow nor obey God’s Word. They will try to lead others astray, by the spirit of the antichrist, not knowing the power of God and the knowledge and mystery of Christ. And not understanding that Jesus is the only wise God and our Saviour.

Jude 1:25

The only wise God and our Saviour. The Lord has told us on numerous occasions that his name is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This scripture verifies and summarizes the whole concept of this book. Jesus Christ is the only wise God and our Saviour who has the glory, majesty, dominion and power both now and forever.

Let’s take a look at the meaning of God’s name, “Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” Our Lord (God is one Lord – Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 40:3), and he is our Saviour (Isaiah 43:11, Luke 2:11), and his name is Jesus Christ (The Messiah – Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:3, and Rock of our Salvation-II Samuel 22:32, 47, I Corinthians 10:4, Acts 2:38). Now you can understand how Jesus can be the one Lord God Almighty just like he said in Revelation 1:8.
