The origin of the Trinitarian Doctrine is not in the Bible

The first use of the Latin word "trinitas" or Trinity with reference to God, was discovered in Tertullian's writings in 213 A.D. Tertullian was an “Old Catholic Age” Church Father. He was also the first to use the term "persons" (in a Trinitarian context). (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1977 Edition, Vol. 13, pg.1,021). The Trinitarian concept was suggested at the Nicaean Council of Churches in 325 A.D. (World Book Encyclopedia, 1984 Edition, Vol. T. p. 363). The Nicene Creed was drafted to clarify the relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As a result of this newly drafted creed, the Trinitarian Doctrine was born and evolved over the following centuries and became a “doctrine of men” which didn’t clarify the oneness of God and the Deity of Christ.

The Trinitarian Doctrine, as it relates to the Nicene Creed, states that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. These three persons agree in one essence and are considered to be co-equal.

The Nicene Creed was developed when the Roman emperor Constantine convened the council of Catholic fathers in 325 A.D. to get an agreement on doctrine. Therefore the purpose of this Nicaean Council was to help the “Old Catholic Age Churches” understand God’s relationship to Jesus Christ who is also considered to be God. After the Trinitarian doctrine was suggested at the Nicaean Council, this doctrine, over time, became the doctrine of all Christian Churches worldwide.

This new Nicene Creed is an example of what Paul meant when he told us not to be deceived. Paul told us that even if an angel from heaven preached anything other than what was delivered to the saints, let them be accursed. The doctrine of the Trinity has been with us so long, it’s hard for us to believe that it’s not true and that it’s a false doctrine (Galatians 1:6-12, II Thessalonians 2:3).

Satan has deceived the world’s religions by perverting the apostle’s doctrine, the method of salvation, and the baptism in Jesus name, which is the Rock of our salvation. The method of salvation was changed from the original baptism in Jesus name to the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, some time before the Nicaean Council. Baptism in the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, Matthew 28:19, was embraced by the Nicaean Council and is practiced in most modern day Trinitarian Churches. This new baptismal formula was a baptism that the Catholic fathers didn’t understand, yet it was adopted as the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The real baptism of the gospel message and the rock of our salvation is in the name of the rock - Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Acts 19:1-5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12).

The reason: They didn’t understand what Jesus said. Read the book of Acts and research baptisms. The Trinitarian teachings of baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost were not carried out in the scriptures. No one was ever baptized in the titles of God - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In order to try to get an understanding of a type of Trinitarian concept, one would have to change the meaning of the word Trinity (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38). Instead of three persons in the meaning, one would have to say three manifestations of one God. Even if we go to this extent, one would still have to understand the oneness of God, realizing that there's only “one Person” of the three manifestations in the Godhead. That person is Jesus Christ. God has always spoken of himself as one Person in flesh and in Spirit - one body (Job 13:7-8, Hebrews 1:3, II Corinthians 5:19, Colossians 1:19, 2:8-9).

In Hebrews 1:1-3, God speaks of himself as “one person” who is the express image of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the brightness of his glory. Three persons in one God is heresy. God never said it and it’s not found anywhere in his Word (Colossians 1:19). God made the heavens and earth by himself – one Person. This great God of heaven and earth is Jesus Christ and the world was made by him and for him (Isaiah 44:24, John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:14-19, I Corinthians 10:4).

At this council, there was an attempt, some say, to merge paganism and Christianity, possibly because of the Christian conversion of Emperor Constantine who previously believed in more than one God. To appease the paganistic beliefs of that day, there was a attempt to create the belief that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. The word Trinity is not found in the Bible, nor is it implied that there are three persons in the Godhead. The only Person in the Godhead is Jesus Christ based on Colossians 1:15, 19, 2:8-10, Ephesians 4:4-6, and Hebrews 1:3. The Trinitarian doctrine is used by man to, unsuccessfully, try to explain the three manifestations of God to be “persons.”

This confusion and controversy was caused by scholars who believed in more than one person in God. This same debate rages on to this day because of unbelief in God’s Word. Overwhelmingly, the Trinitarian doctrine prevailed over all these centuries.

God told Israel that he is one Lord and God hasn’t changed. These scholars with their limited wisdom worked together and determined that there are “persons in one Godhead” not realizing God’s admonition through Isaiah and the apostle Paul (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 29:11-16, Galatians 1:8-12, Philippians 2:6, 10-11, Colossians 2:8-10, Hebrews 1:3).

This Trinitarian doctrine was man's way to try to understand the mystery, majesty and greatness of the three manifestations of God. If one can’t understand the oneness of God, how can one understand the baptism in Jesus name? In order to bring a clearer perspective of how we as Christians have fallen away from the gospel of Christ (apostasy) and where the Trinity came from, let’s look at the “Trinity,” and the “baptism in Jesus name” and how these concepts have gotten lost in the philosophy and traditions of men (Colossians 2:8-10).

Look at some common books and encyclopedias on the Church and Christian History in the Public Library. Prove for yourself who started the concept of the Trinity. This doctrine was started and conceived through the philosophy of men, traditions, and deceit (Colossians 2:8-12).

The Trinity or Trinitarian Doctrine is not Biblical.  The Trinity is "an assumption" that God is three persons, God never said it.  

“The term “trinity” or trinitas, (Trinity) was originated by Tertullian, an “Old Catholic Age Church” father.  This trinitarian concept started it's development at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. (Note: Some references refer to the Nicaean Council of..… or the Nicene Council of…… Council of Nicaea..…).

The Trinity is the concept of three Gods in one based on historical data. This Trinitarian dogma evolved over the centuries and today we have an established concept of the Trinitarian doctrine which has restated the original meaning from three Gods in one to three persons in one God.

Trinity, Holy In Christian doctrine, the unity of the Father, Son and *Holy Spirit as one God in three Persons. The word Trinity doesn’t appear in the Bible. It is a doctrine formulated in the early church to interpret the way God revealed himself, first to Israel; then in *Jesus as Savior; and finally as Holy Spirit, preserver of the church. The doctrine of the Trinity developed in the early centuries of the church and was explicitly stated at the Council of *Nicaea in AD 325.

Exegetes and theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity, even though it was customary in past dogmatic tracts on the Trinity to cite texts like Genesis 1:26, “Let us make humanity in our image, after our likeness” (see Also Gn. 3:22, 11:7; Is. 6:2-3) as proof of plurality in God. Although the Hebrew Bible depicts God as the father of Israel and employs personifications of God such as Word (davar), Spirit (ruah), Wisdom (hokhmah), and Presence (shekhinah), it would go beyond the intention and spirit of the Old Testament to correlate these notions with later trinitarian doctrine.

Further, exegetes and theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity.”

Although Scripture does not give us a formulated doctrine of the Trinity, it contains all the elements out of which theology has constructed the doctrine. The teaching of Christ bears testimony to the true personality of each of the distinctions within the Godhead, and also sheds light upon the relations existing between the three Persons. It was left to theology to formulate from this a doctrine of the Trinity. The necessity to formulate the doctrine was thrust upon the church by forces from without, and it was, in particular, its faith in the deity of Christ and the necessity to defend it, that first compelled the church to fact the duty of formulating a full doctrine of the Trinity for its rule of faith. Irenaeus and Origen share with Tertullian the responsibility for the formulation which is still, in the main, that of the church catholic. Under the leadership of Athanasius the doctrine was proclaimed as the faith of the church at the Council of Nicea (AD325), and at the hands of Augustine, a century later, it received a formulation enshrined in the so-called Athanasian Creed that is accepted by Trinitarian churches to this day.

The word “Trinity” trinitas, was coined by Tertullian. Tertullian put forth the proposition that God is the co-existence of three Gods in one – The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is not biblical but it’s man’s way to try to understand the New Testament and the realization that God has manifested himself in three forms for salvation. In the process of trying to understand God and his manifestations- the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as it relates to baptism, the baptismal formula in Matthew 28:19, was changed from the original baptism “in name of the Lord Jesus” to the titles of God – The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Comments: Starting from the Trinitarian concept, the Christian church starts to fall into apostasy (Galatians 1:1-12). The Trinity is foreign to the original Christian faith as preached by the apostles. Modern Christians to this day are still in a state of Apostasy because they believe in “three gods/persons in one.” (This concept is totally unscriptural). When one studies the scripture and all the secular writings on the Trinitarian baptismal formulas, we can see that there is not an understanding of the oneness of God.

I believe, when we say, God is three persons or three gods in one, or any such thing, it's extremely offensive to God. God has always acknowledged that He is one and we are, in fact, calling God a liar. God has said on more than one occasion that He is one and there is no God before him, neither will there be a God after him. That being the case, who is Jesus Christ? Is Jesus another God or the same God? Three gods or three persons in one God, is an impossibility in the eyes of God, based on the Holy scriptures.

Note: The mind of man has said, there are three persons in one God and God has said, there's only one Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 2:11) and one person (Hebrews 1:3). Who is right? Is God one person like He says or three persons as one would suggest?

The conclusion of the whole matter is the concept that I have endeavored to explain throughout my book. The Trinitarian doctrine is a doctrine of men and that doctrine changed the original baptism “in the name of the Lord Jesus to the titles of God (Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:8-10).
